DR. MARSHALL DEROSA, a Florida Atlantic University professor, joined S.T. Patrick to discuss the recent attack on him by The Nation and "Unkoch My Campus." Dr. DeRosa is a longtime scholar of Southern and Confederate history and law. Because he has belonged to and withdrew from academic associations that impartially study Southern and confederate history, he has been attacked as a racist and a "White Nationalist." The underlying issue, as proven by the March 2018 article in The Nation, is that a current project of DeRosa's is being funded in part by Charles Koch's institute. Dr. DeRosa teaches civics to over 100 prisoners at South Bay Correctional Facility in southern Florida. The majority of his students are black and respond very well to DeRosa's teaching.
